Mommy, 11 years ago I exactly to the day today, I got that dreaded call saying that you had no pulse. Ultimately then a call saying you "expired" as if you were a library book. I know that I cannot put into words the raw emotion/feelings that are inside us today and everyday without you & Daddy.

At times, it is surreal. At times we feel like robots simply going through the motions because we have to. The only comfort that I know that I can find is that everyday that passes is one closer to you and Daddy, and all our loved ones. You always taught us that life never ends, it is eternal and will continue on forever.

Some may say celebrate your life and not mourn the dead.... I cannot... I was just getting to know you at 28 and if you were here, we would be having a blast. I honor you by your wishes and recall you always saying don't ever cry for me. I don't, my eyes are too dry but my heart broken and my feelings numb to this day. Thank you mommy for the time I did have with you. Thank you for teaching/showing me how to be a good mommy like you. Rena is so much like you, I see so much of you in her. Your memory, your legacy, as well as Daddy's will live on forever. I love you with all my heart and my soul. Until that day where you take my hand to your home, I say see you soon my beloved mommy. I love you!!!!!!

AUTUMN BREEZE IS BLOWING

WIENER ROAST AND CAMPFIRE,

FOOTBALL GAMES ON FRIDAYS,

RIVALS COME TO TOWN.
WINTERTIME IS COMING,

FROST IS ON THE PUMPKIN,
CHILDRE JUMB AND RUN,
DAYS ARE GROWING SHORTER,

GOD IS QUITE THE ARTIST,

When days are dark and dreary
How nice to hear I'm praying for you
And feel the warmth of God's love too.
The encouraging words come from afar
Life is so easy as we build a special bond
When you are in the valley low
Friends do pray their love will show.

God knew we would need each other
